Squall sounds hesitant at first and that just makes Nyx grin even wider, wicked delight gleaming in those silvery eyes just as surely as the violet spark of magic.

"Oh, I don't think I can beat you, Geddah. I know." It takes everything he has to wait until Squall has time to actually draw revolver. The moment she's in hand, though, Nyx is disappearing in another flash. He hits the ground immediately beside his lover, rolling with the momentum of a charge he'd barely taken a step of before he'd warped. As he tumbles past the flat of a blade slaps against Squall's side, just above his hip.

"That's one." It's utterly unfair and he knows it. Squall will need time to adapt to the absurd speed Nyx can move with when he has blades that are weighted well and the space to cover ground. If anything being in a room indoors will be a benefit to Squall for this.
