Squall's delayed reaction earns a loud laugh, echoing in the mostly empty room enough that Lucky removes his nose from the floor, ears cocking as he looks around confused. The fact that the puppy's expression is so similar to Squall's only makes Nyx laugh harder. Hard enough that he has to yank his kukri free to just slide down the wall, grinning and laughing and sweeping Squall up into his arms as his boyfriend hurries over.

"Just a little bonus the Kings get." He's still laughing when he kisses Squall again, extracting himself almost as swiftly as he'd wrapped his arms around him. "You bring Revolver? You wanna go a couple rounds?" One Kukri is still in hand, blade tucked back against his forearm as he bounces on his toes a little. "C'mon~~"
